Founded in 1987 originally as the Polyurethane Foam Contractors Division, the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) is the collective voice, along with the educational and technical resource, for the spray polyurethane foam industry. Our experienced staff and member-comprised committees provide a wide variety of services to the industry.
SPFA develops tools designed to educate and influence the construction industry with the positive benefits of spray polyurethane foam roofing, insulation, coatings, and specialty installations. Although the SPFA is a completely independent trade association, we have a strong relationship with the American Chemistry Council's (ACC) Center for Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), along with the Sprayfoam Coalition. These groups have assisted the SPFA to better serve the spray polyurethane foam industry's business needs on local, state, and national issues.
The Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) was formed under the Center for Polyurethanes Industry (CPI). The SFC is a dynamic organization of companies that produce and sell polyurethane spray foam insulation systems and the chemicals and equipment necessary for their use. The SFC champions the use of spray polyurethane foam in U.S. building and construction applications by promoting its benefits, providing a forum to help shape public policy on issues critical to the industry, and supporting the safe manufacture, transport and application of spray polyurethane foam (SPF).
Western States Roofing Contractors Association is a non-profit regional association of roofing, roof deck and waterproofing contractors and industry related associate members. The association’s close and frequent contact with members and its programs and services are vital to the successful operation of member companies.
The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) is the national trade association representing the manufacturers of asphaltic and solar reflective roof coatings and the suppliers to the roof coatings industry. RCMA has more than 70 members who manufacture in or ship products to almost every state in the country, and is headquartered in Washington, DC. Established in 1982, RCMA is a leading industry voice, promoting the benefits of roof coatings and providing its membership with up-to-date information on building codes and standards, technical developments, and other industry topics of interest. The high level of participation and dedication from the membership is a testament to RCMA’s commitment to representing the industry, and to promoting the wide range of benefits roof coatings offer.
